Cypress Highlights: Was a force off the bench for the Chargers her freshman year leading the team in field goal percentage at .432... finished the 2006-07 season with 73 points, 72 rebounds, and 17 steals… against L.A. Harbor, Batiste went five for seven from the field for a season high 11 points along with six rebounds.
High School Highlights: Led Bellflower to the Suburban League Championship in 2004... had a season high 22 points and nine rebounds, five assists, and four blocks against Norwalk her senior season... earned General Studies “Player of the Week” twice... earned a Suburban League Championship her freshman season… also participated in track and field competing in shot put and discus… was also a member of the Varsity club and the renaissance club.
Personal: Born on December 28th, 1987... mother is Lana Turner… brother is Lamar... majoring in criminal justice… came to Cypress because, “the coach will push me to my goals”.
