Cypress Highlights: Butler finished her career as a two-time All-Orange Empire Conference selection and eighth on the Cypress all-time career scoring record book with 893 points. She also led the conference in points averaging 21 points per game in conference. She increased her production greatly in the 2006-07 season leading Cypress in four key categories including scoring (518), rebounds (208), steals (84), and free-throw percentage (.724). Butler increased her average to 17.9 points per game and finished the season with three games with thirty points or more and littered the season with seven games with points in the twenties. She scored a career high 33 points against Irvine Valley in addition to 9 rebounds and 3 assists. Butler also collected seven double-doubles.

Butler was the second leading scorer for the Chargers her freshman year with 380 points averaging 11.9 points per game. Her efforts earned her placement on the all-Orange Empire Conference team. Butler played in all 32 games for Cypress starting in 22. Butler's defensive strength made her the Charger's leader in steals with 89 on the year averaging 2.8 steals per game. Against Irvine Valley, Butler reached a double-double scoring 18 points shooting 50% from the field and grabbed 11 rebounds while stealing the ball 3 times. Butler scored a sesaon high 26 points against Imperial Valley with 12 boards. Butler had 3 double-doubles this season.

High School Highlights: Butler spent four years on Long Beach Poly's varsity squad. L.B. Poly earned the Moore League championship all four years with Butler on the team. Her senior year was the most accomplished earning Moore League Honorable Mention and leading Poly to the CIF championship. Butler scored 16 points, blocked two shots, and stole the ball four times in the championship game over Lynwood.

Personal: Parents are Jessie McClelland and John Lee. Siblings are Alysia, Ashley, Amber, Thomas, Israel, and Christian. Interest include listening to music and writing lyrics.
