Mike Ford joined the Lady Chargers staff after a successful coaching tenure at Los Alamitos High School. He was the Griffins coach for 12 seasons, and his squads qualified for CIF playoffs 10 times. He also served as an assistant coach at Westminster and L.A. Washington high schools. Ford, who still teaches at Los Alamitos, is a graduate of Fresno State University with a degree in mathematics and a masters degree in Educational Technology from Azusa Pacific.
