Cypress Highlights: Phelps came in as a defensive force her freshman year for 55 steals on the season and 7 blocks. She also finished the season with 87 points and 77 rebounds. Against Golden West, Phelps had a productive all-around line with 7 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists, and 6 steals.
High School Highlights: Phelps was named as an honorable mention selection in the Moore League twice. At Lakewood, she earned the captains’ award, the hustle award, and offensive player of the year. Phelps accumulated 51 career three-pointers and had a career high 23 points her senior season.
Personal: Born on June 18th, 1988. Mother is Helen Brandon, brother is Tyler Phelps. Came to Cypress because, “it was a program similar to what I was used to playing in”.
