Imaku Leads Chargers past Reedley

Merced, Calif. – Sophomore Guard Brittany Imaku accrued 24 points and 6 assists to lead Cypress College past Reedley Friday at the Merced Tournament. The score was close throughout the game, but the Lady Chargers fought through early foul trouble and pulled away in the second half on their way to a 95-86 victory.
Four Chargers contributed with double-digit scoring. Freshman forward Ana Fakatou had a break out night with 19 points and 11 rebounds while Rosalyn Omoruyi had another stellar night with a game high 26 points while collecting 8 rebounds. Sophomore guard Mia Seagraves contributed with 18 points and 7 rebounds.
Cypress now looks ahead to the Consolation Championship at the Merced tournament against Sacramento City.
